Use of Computervision CADDS 5 systems to prepare designs, drawings and artworks. I was joint design engineer, developing a corporate interlocking door latch for Rover/Land Rover Group.

This project involved complex assemblies with safety and quality requirements and would require a high degree of customer liaison with use of design tools as well as a high degree of customer and legislative testing to ensure a cost effective design of quality.

Designing injected mouldings, over moulding, sealing systems, moulded gears , zinc die castings, pressings, cold formed components, springs, plating processes, 12v technology and the production and monitoring of samples through internal and customer testing.
